As part of the KMM Beta Workgroup, I have applied the Kanban Maturity Model for almost a year now with different clients.
In this talk, I will briefly summarize the model and reflect on its role from a consultant’s perspective. I will share examples from two client engagements, an online digital marketing and publishing company, and a global logistics enterprise.
In the first instance, the model was used to guide the leadership team in its endeavor to improve and mature their organization. In the second example, the use of the Kanban Maturity Model changed the dynamics in a long-standing customer engagement.
